Felt Like Home Away From Home

My husband and I just got back from Panama celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary and Nadine and Patrick made us feel right at home. Whatever we needed or wanted was granted. Actually felt like the place was ours and they came with it! Great home, clean and well maintained and our breakfast was prepared and served with great care. We were able to enjoy the grounds and especially the pool and rancho all to ourselves. Patrick made himself available to take us all over the city and we really got to see everything and enjoy the sites. Way better than a resort. If you're looking for an escape to and unwind and relax, look no further. We made great friends and will be looking forward to returning soon. Thank you Nadine and Patrick for a very memorable Anniversary!

A wonderful place to stay. The hosts, Pat and Nadine are very nice and helpful. I especially like the way they have decorated their interesting house. They are very artistic.

Pat is an accomplished impressionist artist with his works on display at famous galleries.

The breakfast was amazing. I have traveled a lot and many B n B's do not actually have breakfast but this was one of the best I have ever had. The food was ample, varied, and delicious and the presentation was beautiful and seemed very french to me reflecting their French Canadian background.

A haven

The B&B is a peaceful, cozy and beautiful. The most savoury breakfast you ever had will happen in the garden full of birds and fruit trees. The hosts will go out of their way to make your stay a unique and blissful experience like organize a massage in their garden by the pool and recommend unique places to visit and restaurants. Thank you for making us feel like royalty!

Really enjoyed the guest house! It is beautiful, peaceful and affordable. Everything it so close by if you want hit beach , eat or do some shopping. The owners are so friendly and kind.

Wonderful experience

Feeling like a home. Tiny guest house at the quiet residential area is run by young Canadian couple. Owners could not be nicer. Very peaceful, clean place. We enjoyed the company of owners. They were very helpful with our sightseeing planning.

One advice - if you are coming from Panama City, do your driving planning ahead. What looks like an easy drive on the map was actually challenging drive due to lousy transportation markings in Panama.

Exceptional place to start your vacation 😍

We stayed only one night with Patrick and Nadine....this B&B is a absolutely the perfect way to start your Panama trip. The atmosphere is so tranquil you soon forget the long plane ride. The grounds are spectacular, the relaxing pool is a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee and to say a prayer to the Virgin Mary while your hosts prepare the most exquisite breakfast you will have . 😍 The information that P/N will supply is top-notch, whatever you need to know they have the answers...lots of info pamplets are readily available for you to peruse. There is nothing negative to say about La Belle Cite. We received a email the next day from them to inquire how we were doing. I highly recommend a stay here...hope to see P/N again someday soon.

Our stay in Coronado at the Guest House La Belle Cite

My husband and I have been travelling throughout Panama for 3 weeks. Our last stop before heading back to Panama and flying home was Coronado. What a gem we found there at La Belle B&B. As soon as we pulled into the driveway we fell in love with this lovely hacienda style house and the beautiful grounds and pool surrounding it. Then we met the most gracious host Patrick and Nadine who couldn't of been more helpful and comfortable to be with. We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed every minute of it. It is in a great location, not far from anyplace you want to go and with lots of great restaurants near by. If you were so inspired to cook for yourself they have an outdoor kitchen with stove, BBQ and anything you would need all under a lovely gazebo. Just chilling out by the pool with your cerveza or wine was a treat. Breakfast is not included here but you can order Nadines special breakfast, not to be missed. It was enough to satisfy you for the day, very delicious. There was nothing negative about our stay and we both give it a 5 across the board. Thank you Nadine and Patrick!

Just perfect!

My husband and I wanted to get some rest, in a quiet place. The guest house La Belle Cite is just perfect for that. We stayed two days and we wanted to stay longer. The room was clean and very comfortable. The location is great, there are many restaurants nearby. The pool and back yard with the gazebo were fabulous for chilling out with bossa music and some vine. Nadine and Patrick run this place with love and enthusiasm and made us feel like home. We will come back!

A wonderful experience

There is not much more that I can say in reviewing this wonderful oasis in Coronado Panama. All previous guest's comments are exactly as I experienced at Mi Refugio, no need to add anything more. This is the perfect place for a peaceful, clean and friendly escape.

The only additional comment I wish to express is that the hosts, Patrick and Nadine ,are two of the most wonderful, helpful and warm people you would ever care to meet.

A family like bond that only exists in very few people.

It is always a pleasure to come back to "La belle Cité". Pat & Nad are great people with fantastic positive energy and I always feel at home when I stay there. The breakfast is just great and the house is very nicely decorated. I will come back very often! Love you guys!
